My Top 5 Self Tanners

Winter is coming and that means my summer tan is going. I always feel like I look healthier when I have a tan but laying out in the sun is terrible for your skin and not possible when the temperatures are dropping. (Who am I kidding, I live in Florida). Over the last few months, I've been testing out countless self tanners and I've rounded up my top 5. Here goes!

5. L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze $11This self tanner has been my go to for years! I love it because it's affordable and works great. It's easy to use and sprays on. The downside is it takes a while to develop and applying it to your back yourself is difficult.4. Kardashian Instant Sunless Lotion $26It's no secret that the Kardashians' have a cult following especially when it comes to all things beauty. So naturally (or unnaturally lol) I had to try their sunless tanner. I love the way this product smells and that it boasts to firm skin while it tans. It's easy to use, however I did not think that the color developed very dark. If you're going for a very natural tint, this is great but this South Florida girl wanted to be dark!3. Bondi Sands Gradual Tanning Milk $19As far as gradual tanning lotion goes, this was the best one I found. I compared it against the Jergens Gradual Tanning Lotion since that has been the product that wins all the awards. There was no comparison in my book. The Bondi Sands showed color sooner and had better moisturizing, hands down.2. Tarte Better Bod Bronze & Contour $39If you're looking to be tanned NOW, for an event or a date, this is the way to go. The color shows up immediately making application easy because you see exactly where it's going. You can layer for a darker tan. It smells great and washes off in the shower. I was very impressed. My only con is that I wish it was a long lasting tanner because I loved the color so much.1. Loving Tan Deluxe Bronzing Mousse $40My favorite of every tanner that I tried is definitely this one. The product was easy to apply and the color showed up immediately but it is an actual tanner as opposed to the bronzer above. Of all the items, it lasted the longest. and you can layer it for more color. I received a lot of compliments when I used it and it is now a staple in my beauty kit!Pro tip: When trying to apply tanning cream or foam to your back, put your biggest round hairbrush inside the mitt to have a longer handle!
