Your Mama's Beauty Picks
Growing up my mom taught physical education and never wore makeup. She was always more of a tomboy and this was one of the biggest reasons I went to cosmetology school. I wanted to learn how to girl.Now that we’re older, my mom asks me for makeup and beauty advice all the time. She works in an office and wants to look more put together so when she asks me to take her to Sephora and pick out new things for her to try, I'm totally game. This time together has taught me that having kids and getting older doesn’t curb our love of girly things and if anything, moms want new products even more than ever. I’ve put together a gift bag any mom would love. Of course when I was shopping for her, I may have picked up a few new products for myself. 
Tu El Deep Pore Cleansing System & Lift Up Firming Mask Fresh faces start with glowing skin. Mine routine always starts and ends with my Tu El Cleansing systems. Once or twice a week, I treat myself to the Lift Up Firming Mask and cannot believe how glowing it makes my skin. I got my mom a gift card for a facial and she instantly fell in love with how her skin felt using the Tu El products after just a short time. 
Sephora Face Masks As much as I am loyal to my favorite products, I always throw a couple of Sephora’s Sheet Masks into my basket. They’re only $6 and every mom would love a night to treat yo self.Fenty Beauty Instant Retouch Primer This is actually a new product for me. Courtney Shields Albright is one of my new favorite bloggers. She recently went on a girls trip and all her friends wanted was pick her brain about makeup (I know the feeling!). Her go to primer is the Fenty Beauty Instant Retouch Primer so I had to pick one up...ahem, for my mom!!! Okay for me too. But the truth is I love how velvety my foundation went on and my mom is sure to love it too! 
Two Faced Born This Way Multi Use Concealer & Foundation If you think this post is all about getting glowing skin, you’re right. My mom prefers au natural regardless of the many makeup lessons I’ve given her. I swear she’s afraid to put too much makeup on! But she has mastered the art of perfect skin, which is so beautiful. I love that Two Faced makes these all in one concealer/highlight/contours because it’s perfect for the amateur beauty mogul. 
Huda Matte Lip Busy moms still love a bit of glam and need a long stay lipstick. I discovered the Huda Matte Lip products when looking for makeup for my show. I was in awe of how good my lips felt and how this lipstick did not budge. I love the color Fashionista for Spring, it’s the perfect pop of pink!Hopefully, my mom doesn't read this and think I got her everything in this post. But maybe I did? Maybe this is just a diversion ;)
